Michael Schumacher’s first World Championship F1 car – Benetton B194
Before you start to speculate which chassis number this Benetton B 194 is…. we release your excitement a bit – or even tear it up after reading this. Yes, this is the F1 car chassis number 08, exact that car in which Michael Schumacher won his first F1 World Championship after the infamous incident, which is exactly 20 years ago today, in Adelaide with Damon Hill. It is in perfect condition, fitted and runs with the original 3.5 litre Ford Cosworth ZETEC-R air-valve V8 engine, prepared by Langford Performance Engineering. The paint is original.
Several spare parts like different nose and set of tyres are around. This car is headquartered with us and we see it every day. Never enough, just standing beside or touching the steering wheel is kind of magic. We even sit inside sometimes very carefully. And yes, the owners knows that. If you have some further questions, please drop us a mail. Useless to say, that we integrated the B 194-8 in our movies from time to time. Sorry for that following lame kind of commercial produced at our HQ. We were young and needed the money, we still do. But subscribe us on Yotube, there a re some nices clips than this one.
We caught this special following moment, right after these two queens returned from Goodwood FOS 2014. The B 194-8 was “just” displayed at the F1 Paddock, but this Maserati MC12 GT1 Centeniall runned up that hill in 45.82 seconds to celebrate 100 years of being the opposite of ordinary like Maserati. This V12 beast is also headquartered with us and right now on its way to Pebble Beach. Stay tuned for more to come here with the proud trident from Modena and enjoy these two little monsters taking a rest after travelling. Like us on Facebook for more.
